Canal Rocks is a series of granite rocks in the Indian Ocean just off the coast situated approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Yallingup in the South West region of Western Australia. The Noongar name for this place is Winjee Sam. Over hundreds of years, large swells from the Indian ocean have been breaking onto massive granite rocks, carving canal-like formations for the water to flow through. Canal Rocks is part of the rugged Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park known for its excellent fishing and scenic bushwalking
